Australia's most awarded helmet brand continues its legacy of off-road helmets for Australian riders and conditions with the X5.

The X5 is a pro-level MX and off-road helmet that exceeds ECE22.06 certification, used and developed in conjunction with some of the biggest names in ProMX including Todd Waters, Dean Ferris and Brett Metcalfe. This is M2R's most comprehensive helmet to date, with unrivalled protection, comfort and styling.

Available in two shell options - fibreglass composite reinforced with synthetic fibres, or carbon composite reinforced with aramid fibres - the redeveloped MIT Pro shell is strong and lightweight, offering maximum protection and flexibility to absorb and dissipate impacts. Carbon MIT Pro helmets feature a forged carbon outer layer over the fibreglass to ensure maximum safety, optimum flexibility and impact energy absorption. The multi-density EPS inner liner is four piece design for maximum protection, with multi-density pieces in the crown as well as EPS lined cheek pads for full circumference facial/cranial protection.

Stepping up from our original X-Halo technology, the X-Halo Plus system integrates seven X-Halo Plus shields in the critical halo position and top of the head for premium impact and rotation protection; it's a fourth layer of defence providing additional low speed impact and rotational protection. X-Halo Shield material changes at a molecular level during an impact. Usually soft, during an impact the material hardens as the molecules lock together, allowing for the successful absorption and dissipation of and impacts energy.

Through our ProMX athlete partnerships, the X5 offers incredible comfort, ensuring it's M2R's best fitting helmet to date. The 3D shaped interior comfort liner uses multi-density foam for superior comfort and hold, with no pressure points on the crown. The X-Halo contours to the shape of your head for a fully stable and secure fit.

Ventilation is imperative to comfortable riding which is why the X5 includes eleven inlets and seven outlets, designed for high velocity airflow with the peak helping to force and direct air. Air flows through the channelled EPS to draw cool air in and flush hot air out. The peak features safety shear protection so it shears off easily in the event of an accident and the helmet is EJECT system compatible for events where it's required.
