Afterexperimenting with numerous types of filter media they discovered that anoiled cotton design allowed the filter to not only capture contaminantsvery efficiently but also allowed it to be washed and reused and theoriginal K&N High-Flow Air Filter was born. Allfilters are constructed with ultra-strong moulded pliable rubber flangeswhich absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also bestretched for up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes.K&N universal air filters are washable andreusable.
